IT Operations

IT Operations includes daily operation and support of the information technology environment.

What We Support

IT Operations comprises three support teams: the ITS Help Desk, Telecommunications, and Classroom Technology.

ITS Help Desk

The ITS Help Desk is the first point of contact for IT questions and requests for service, providing phone, email, and desktop support. The ITS Help Desk provides technical support to UWF students, faculty, and staff on a variety of university technology services. 


Telecommunications provides voice connectivity (traditional and Voice over IP) and related services for campus and remote sites. 

Classroom Technology

ITS places a top priority on providing faculty with the latest classroom and instructional technology, allowing them to create an engaging and multimedia-rich learning environment for UWF students. Classroom Technology includes both technology in the classroom and training on emerging instructional technologies. Classroom Technology provides support for instructional technology, training, and student computer labs.
