President's Award for Exemplary Online Teaching
The President’s Award for Exemplary Online Teaching at the University of West Florida aims to recognize and celebrate outstanding achievements in online education.
Eligibility
Anyone who has taught a fully online course within the last three academic semesters at UWF (Spring, Summer, and Fall 2023) and is interested in applying for the President's Award for Exemplary Online Teaching must submit a five-minute video overview documenting their exemplary online teaching practice via email to facultysupport@uwf.edu by February 1, 2024.
Evaluation
The review committee includes faculty members representing each College, appointed by their College Dean, and representatives from the CTLT. Each member of the committee will evaluate candidates based on evidence of a sustained body of exemplary online teaching practices, emphasizing the development and delivery of multiple online courses or repeated offerings of the same course over time.
