Glenn Avery Breed- Associate Professor of Design/Technology
Glenn currently serves as an AssociateProfessor of Theatre in Costume Design and Technology at the University of West Florida in Pensacola, FL. Prior to his seven years at UWF he received his M.F.A in Costume Design and Technology from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati, OH. Prior to graduate school he served as the costume shop manager at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM. Glenn holds a B.A. in Theatrical Design from St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas. Glenn also served as the resident costume designer for West Virginia Public Theatre for five seasons and some 40+ productions. He currently serves as the Resident Costume Designer for Pensacola Opera in Pensacola, FL and Brevard Music Center/Janiec Opera Company in Brevard, NC. He has worked as a designer and technologist for Ensemble Theatre, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, The State Theatre, Public Domain Theatre, Chautauqua Theatre Company, Austin Musical Theatre, Austin Playhouse, among others.
