About UWF Forensics

Brief History
Since 1973, UWF Forensics has provided students opportunities to train, compete, and grow in the areas of public speaking, oral interpretation of literature, limited preparation speaking and debate. UWF Forensics has a rich tradition of excellence in competition. Our team has won a national championship, as well as numerous state, regional, and national awards. The UWF squad travels throughout the United States competing against hundreds of colleges and universities.

The strength and substance of the UWF Forensics program exists within our emphasis on ambassadorship. We believe that students need to learn to engage the community as a citizen, active advocate, and critic. UWF Forensics provides a magnificent opportunity for students to explore and learn about these aspects of their role in the world.
