Payments

Rent is paid by semester or in installment payments with the UWF Payment Plan.

An incremental four-year rate increase was approved by the Florida Board of Trustees and implemented in the Fall 2023. The current Housing rates are listed on the Housing Rates page.

Admissions Merit Scholarships

We accept Admissions Merit Scholarships. The AMS can only be applied towards expenses incurred through UWF (such as room and board) and cannot be used to cover off-campus living expenses.

Processing Fee and Prepayment

All students completing a Housing contract have to pay the $25 processing fee at the time of completing the contract.

All new or FTIC contracts (never lived on campus at UWF) also have to pay the $200 prepayment, which is applied to their total bill for the semester. The prepayment is only done once and must be paid before the student is assigned to a bed space.

Payment methods

Credit/debit cards: Credit/debit cards are accepted online. Do not submit a prepayment form if you are paying with a credit/debit card.

Checks or money orders: If paying by check or money order, print out a Mail In Prepayment Letter 2024-2025 and take it or mail it to the cashier's office with your payment.‌
