Staff Senate annually runs a donation drive to collect pet supplies in support of a local Humane Society.

The purpose of this project is to collect, toys, food, and supplies across UWF campuses to support a local Humane Society in Pensacola. UWF Emerald Coast supports the Panhandle Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) in Fort Walton Beach. All material donations such as canned and dry pet foods, pet supplies, office supplies, medical supplies, cleaning supplies etc. can be placed in one of the decorated Hand to Paw boxes located in buildings across UWF campuses throughout the month of October. Or if you prefer, monetary donations will be accepted at select locations
