Biography

Trista Bennett is serving as the 2025-2026 Student Government Association President.

Trista is a Senior at UWF majoring in Biology, and minoring in Honors and Interdisciplinary Sciences. At UWF, she is involved in the Kugelman Honors Program, the Campus Activity Board, and the Student Government Association. Additionally, Trista serves as the Internal Vice Chair for the Florida Student Association, representing 430,000+ university students in Florida.

After graduation, Trista plans to go to medical school and hopes to stay involved in public health policy.

As SGA President, her goal is to cultivate a positive campus environment for all students and instill lasting changes across the Pensacola community.
