Biography

Originally from Pensacola, Kathy spent over 20 years in Chicago where she was a senior partner for a private real estate equity firm, Heitman, LLC. Over her career, she held several senior leadership positions across multiple facets of the institutional real estate investment industry, from marketing and distribution to her final role as global head of Heitman’s $6 billion securities business. Today, she sits as an independent director for several public companies and works as an advisor to private real estate firms across the U.S. Additionally, Kathy serves the community by sitting on the board of numerous local organizations, including The American Heart Association, The Northwest Florida Homeless Task Force, UWF Foundation and as vice-chair of the Studer Community Institute.  

Kathy is a proud graduate of the University of West Florida and a certified public accountant.
