Biography

Mrs. Rex is a proud alumnus of the University of West Florida where she received her BS in Mathematics in Teaching in 2009 and MS in Mathematical Sciences in 2011. She happily returned to teach full-time for UWF in the fall of 2015. Since January of 2010, she has been an educator in higher education and welcomes the daily challenge of sharing the value of math with those who may not immediately appreciate its study. An active member of the university campus, Mrs. Rex serves as a faculty liaison for the STEM Living Learning Community. She has been nominated for the SGA Distinguished Teaching Award and received certification as a Quality Matters Online Instructor.
