Scholarship Information

The following is a partial list of scholarships available for UWF engineering students. Application is done through MyUWF in the UWF Scholarship Portal.

Programs of Strategic Emphasis Tuition Waivers

Due to the importance of specific majors to the state economy and the development of industries, the State of Florida has established a tuition waiver for students in the programs deemed "Programs of Strategic Emphasis." The BS in Electrical Engineering and the BS in Computer Engineering programs are on this list. Eligibility for the tuition waiver and course requirements can be found on the Finance and Administration site - scroll down to Programs of Strategic Emphasis.  Eligibility for the waiver should be determined on admission (you don't have to do anything).  If you feel you are eligible but are not receiving the tuition waiver, please get in touch with the Cashier's office or your academic advisor.
