Biography
Dr. Brandon A. Fultz is a lecturer in the field of Organic Chemistry and a current organic lab coordinator in the Department of Chemistry at UWF. He has a Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry from Florida State University where he worked under Dr. Justin Kennemur specializing in the field of polymer chemistry where he investigated the use of autonomous self-assembly and post-polymerization modification to create well-ordered charged nanostructures from vinyl pyridine based block copolymers.
Dr. Fultz received his B.S. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he performed research in the field of forensic drug chemistry. Under the guidance of Dr. Elizabeth Gardner, he investigated the ubiquitous contamination of methamphetamine on U.S. currency. His teaching responsibilities include classes in organic chemistry, and he is currently aiding in the development of the department’s Organic Chem Success Program.
