2017-2026 Alumni Profiles

Students in this decade welcomed the University’s sixth and seventh presidents, Dr. Martha D. Saunders and Manny Diaz Jr. The University experienced historic growth with enrollment exceeding 15,000 students alongside notable successes like earning Research 2 designation, entering NCAA Division I athletics and ranking No. 2 in the Florida Board of Governors performance based metrics. Students, faculty and staff within this decade navigated the COVID-19 global pandemic and celebrated the United States 250th anniversary. These UWF alumni are rising to the challenges of today’s world and making it their own.
