Biography

Mel makes up one-half of The Cat Pak Morning Show and CMA Broadcast Personality of the Year for 2022.

Being a native Texas girl, she brings a whole lot of sass and fun that will keep you on your toes. You never know what she is going to say next. Mel enjoys cooking and baking and is always trying out new recipes! Mel also enjoys staying active and working out. She loves a good boat day out at Pensacola Beach.

Mel has a huge soft spot for animals and says she WILL have a “funny” farm one day. If you see Mel, you will more than likely find Remmi, her 13-year-old Shihtzu, somewhere close by.

Mel has served as the Master of Ceremonies for numerous nonprofit charity galas, events, and award ceremonies in Pensacola. She is a graduate of Leadership Pensacola 2023, a program of the Pensacola Chamber. She also serves on the board for the American Advertising Federation Pensacola.

Mel can be heard every morning on the Cat Pak Morning Show with Brent Lane from 5-10 a.m.
