Women in Leadership Conference

A record-breaking crowd of 700+ in-person and virtual attendees heard female leaders from across the state share their expertise during the eighth annual Women in Leadership Conference on March 11, 2022.
 
The conference featured keynotes from Dr. Deborah German, VP of health affairs and dean of the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, and Gwen Graham, assistant secretary for legislation and congressional affairs for the U.S. Department of Education.
 
Panel topics included “Leading with an Equity Lens,” “Leadership Lessons You Don’t Find in the Textbooks,” “Hitting the Pause Button: A Conversation about Career Transitions,” “Climbing Up While Reaching Back,” “Leading with Purpose and Passion in the Healthcare Industry” and “Tips for Successful Leaders in Male-dominated Systems.”
 
The conference included unfettered access to the speakers for in-person and virtual attendees and a brief dance party led by emcee Mayela Rojas Sanchez, executive VP and content creative officer for Media Vista Group.
