Women's Studies Collective

The Women's Studies Collective promotes critical conversation and innovative ideas surrounding women’s issues.

About the Collective

The purpose of the Women's Studies Collective (WSC) is to promote a feminist presence on campus and in the UWF community. Our primary object is to establish a close-knit community of like-minded individuals who are interested in sharing critical conversation and innovative ideas surrounding women’s issues. Through these gatherings we establish personal and professional networks that not only better us as individuals and students, but also as invested members of the academic and local community.

Each year, the Women's Studies Collective invites students to participate in the following:

  • Feminist Spaces
  • Feminist Iconography Art Exhibit at the Pensacola Museum of Art
  • Annual Women's Studies Conference

The WSC also hosts or supports a variety of events for students as well as the broader community. We invite you to follow us on Facebook for our most current activity!
