About the Collective

The Women's Studies Collective (WSC) aims to allow students to promote a feminist presence on campus and in the UWF community. Our primary object is to establish a close-knit community of like-minded individuals interested in sharing critical conversations and innovative ideas surrounding women’s issues. Through these gatherings, we establish personal and professional networks that not only better us as individuals and students but also as invested members of the academic and local community.

The WSC hosts or supports a variety of events for students as well as the broader community. The WSC is supported entirely by student funds; No state or federal funding goes to the WSC or its events.
