Suggested Format/Content

1. Introduce yourself and congratulate them on their accomplishments and admission to UWF.
2. Let them know you are excited they have selected your major as their program of study, and that you are excited to welcome them to the College of X in their entry term.
3. Offer a positioning statement like, “What made you choose this program?” or “How long have you been pursuing music performance?” and tie in high-impact practices or accolades of the program based on their answer.
4. Highlight some key alumni, high impact practices and/or things that make your program different from other institutions – why should they choose UWF program X? If you have links to articles, awards, or current student highlights, include them in your email.
5. Ask them if they have any questions that you can answer about program X at UWF.
6. Invite them to schedule a time to meet virtually or via phone to go over program details or answer any questions.
