Philanthropy Cords
Celebrate your graduation the Argo way!
As you get ready to cross the stage, join a growing tradition of generosity and pride at UWF. With a gift of $20.25 to the UWF Foundation, you’ll receive a blue and green philanthropy cord to wear with your graduation regalia.
This special cord is a symbol of Argo pride and shows that you're committed to giving back to the university that helped shape your path.
Your gift supports current and future Argos through initiatives like student emergency services, first generation scholarships, Military and Veterans resources, and all UWF colleges. Be part of something bigger. You can also make your gift in honor of someone special such as a professor, advisor, mentor or parent.

Getting Your Philanthropy Cord
After you make your $20.25 donation, there are two ways to get your philanthropy cord:
- Pick it up in person: come to the front desk of Building 12 (UWF Foundation/Alumni Building)
- Ship it: email alumni@uwf.edu to let us know if you would like for us to ship your cord to the address you provided.
Building 12 office hours:
Monday - Friday
9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The University of West Florida Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your donation is tax deductible to the full extent provided by law in the amount it exceeds the fair market value of any goods or services received.
All credit card donations are subject to a nominal credit card fee. This fee will be subtracted from the amount of your gift.
