Information for Newly Admitted Students

Welcome to the University of West Florida! New student orientation contains vital information for your success during the first year. This site provides important information to help prepare you for your upcoming orientation session and the process for incoming students assigned to First Year Advising. For additional information, please refer to New Student Orientation. 

• Review and update your contact information through the "Contact and Privacy" app in your MyUWF. 
• Check your UWF email frequently for communication from your advisor. 
• Review your Degree Audit to ensure the correct major is listed. If the incorrect major is listed, please submit the Application Major Change form with your correct major. 
• Prior to your orientation, please watch the following video and follow the instructions to prepare for your appointment.
