The Campus Activity Board is composed of UWF students assisted by the Program Director and two Graduate Assistant Program Advisors. CAB is divided into four committees each responsible for producing a unique type of event.
CAB Committees
- Cinemagic
Members select the latest and most popular movies to screen on campus, then build a total experience for their audience food, fun, contests, prizes, or all three!
- CARS(Catch a Rising Star)
Students on the CARS Committee choose comedians and bands, devise unique promotion campaigns, schmooze with entertainers and search for unique attractions such as Wax Hands and Clearly Crystals
- Special Events
Committee members on Special Events plan theme events, pick prizes, choose food, decorate and have fun producing a variety of popular programs, outdoor events and game nights
- Center Stage
This committee hosts some of the most popular events on campus. Center Stage gives UWF students the opportunity to showcase their talent and amaze or amuse their friends by participating in a series of open mic nights, a juried talent show, the newest program, Rap Battle or the now-traditional Lip Sync competition
