UWF undergraduate and graduate students and faculty from diverse fields of study presented their research and academic achievements over the past year during the Student Scholars Symposium and Faculty Research Showcase, part of Founders Week, on Thursday, April 18, 2019. Shadow multiple Faculty mentors and learn what undergraduate research is really about. The Office of Undergraduate Research challenges you to take your educational experience to the next level. Research, scholarly or creative activities are possible for every discipline and major.

OUR Project or Travel Award Recipient? Complete Your Student Final Report

Students receiving an OUR Project and/or Travel award in fall 2023 or spring 2024 must complete the Student Final Report within your application dashboard (go to your original application in the OUR Programs Application Portal via myUWF). Reports are due May 5, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. We appreciate your time and feedback!

The 2024 Student Symposium & Faculty Research Showcase, a triumph, showcased 400+ presentations by 800+ authors and faculty mentors with Pensacola State College participants. Beyond numbers, the UWF community's exceptional engagement stood out. Faculty mentored students, attended presentations, and fostered participation, while staff managed logistics and volunteered. Student presenters felt supported, spotlighting their research and enriching the academic experience for attendees. We will see you at the 2025 Symposium!
