Once You've Enrolled
Now that you are an official UWF student, you can begin to explore the online resources available to you. The services listed here are a good place to start.
- Your ArgoNet account provides access to most of the online services available at UWF. This account is available to you 24 hours after you have registered for classes. You may have already activated your account during student orientation. If not, you can activate your account from the Argus login page at http://argus.uwf.edu. Click the "new user" link and follow the on-screen instructions.

-
Argus is the website, or "web portal," that contains all of the information and online services that you need to be an active member of the UWF community. Log into Argus at http://argus.uwf.edu.

-
Activating your ArgoNet account automatically activates your ArgoMail email and calendar. Log into ArgoMail by clicking the "ArgoMail" icon in the top right corner of Argus. Your email address is your ArgoNet username followed by "@students.uwf.edu".
All students receive 200MB of space on the UWF server for storing files (H: drive) and website hosting (I: drive). Your H: and I: drives are secure and backed up regularly, and they can be accessed from any computer connected to the Internet.

UWF has two open-access labs on the Pensacola campus, the SAIL lab and the CyberLounge, and two in Fort Walton Beach. For those who prefer to compute from their own computer, the eDesktop Virtual Computer Lab allows you to access UWF software from any high-speed Internet connection. To access eDesktop, or for more lab information, see the "eD" tab in Argus.
eLearning is the university's online course management system. Chances are that at least one of your classes uses eLearning. eLearning is available from Argus on the My Info tab. Prepare for eLearning with the eLearning Student Orientation Guide.
