Panhandler is an annual literary journal published by the University of West Florida's Department of English and World Languages. The editorial policy of Panhandler is to present in each issue many of the aesthetic forms that the majority of contemporary magazines do not have the space or the desire to publish. With the goal of bringing underrepresented genres to a wider audience, Panhandler publishes substantial folios of poetry, fiction, nonfiction, drama, and criticism.
UWF’s annual student anthology is now accepting submissions of poetry, short fiction, creative non-fiction, black and white photography, and creative artwork.
Submission guidelines are announced early in the Fall semester.
