Career Events are great ways to network with students and establish a presence on campus. Most event registration is handled through JasonQuest under the “Career Events” tab. Please speak with Nathan Ford if you are interested in participating/hosting your own career event.

Career Fairs: A campus-wide, comprehensive career fair is held each Fall and Spring semester.
Part-Time Job Fair: A campus-wide part-time job Fair is held every Fall semester during UWF’s Welcome Week.
Career Waves: Each semester, UWF Career Services presents a special series of programs, which focus on students' career interests. These programs are designed to assist students in acquiring lifelong career skills and in learning about specific professional fields. Samples of previous programs include: Careers that Make a Difference, Career Advice and a Slice, Interview 101, Etiquette Luncheon, How to Work a Job Fair and Meet the Pros.
Company representatives are invited to participate in the Career Waves events and share their expertise on job search skills and career opportunities. These programs have proven to be successful in helping students and alumni discover how their degree from the University of West Florida can assist them in securing full-time professional employment.
Network Night/Meet the Pros: (Complementary with Career Fair fee) informal networking event held the night prior to the Career Fair. Come mingle with students, faculty/staff members as well as fellow employers.
Career Advice and a Slice: This program is hosted by individual employers presenting on career related topics and career opportunities. Fee will include price of pizza and drinks for students.
Employer Workshop: Every summer, employers attend a full day of seminars and workshops to assist them in branding their name on campus. Create a marketing plan for your organization! Get the scoop on what’s new with the UWF student.
