High-Impact Practices and Experiential Learning

We provide the following resources to assist in developing and facilitating high-impact practices and promoting career readiness:

HIP Liaisons

Each academic college/school has a dedicated High-Impact Practices liaison that works with CDCE to promote the development and implementation of high-quality HIPs. Your HIP liaison is available to consult with you on developing new or enhancing existing HIPs. For more information, please contact hips@uwf.edu.

HIP Faculty Showcase

Faculty are invited to submit their high-impact practice course assignment or experience to be displayed in the HIP Showcase at the OUR Student Scholars Symposium. Course and experience submissions must fit within one of the 11 official HIP categories recognized by the Association of American Colleges and Universities. Faculty are able to submit course assignments/experiences using the following mediums: video, PDF poster and PowerPoint. There are winners for each category represented, as well as the Top HIP Faculty Showcase Award of $500.
