Biography

Jessica joined the University of West Florida in 2023, and brings with her a wealth of experience in guiding and nurturing young minds. With a firm belief that every student possesses untapped potential waiting to be discovered, Jessica is passionate about helping them unearth their passions and aspirations. Before joining UWF, Jessica devoted several years to working with students within the nonprofit sector, honing her skills in mentorship and empowerment. Jessica believes that experiencing diverse cultures firsthand is essential for personal growth and understanding. Jessica has journeyed through numerous countries, but her most cherished destination remains the Galapagos Islands. Jessica earned a bachelor's degree in Zoology from Auburn University. Her deep-rooted passion for animals and the natural world has been a driving force throughout her career. Whether she's trekking through the wilderness or engaging with students in the classroom, Jessica finds joy in connecting with the world around her.
