Background

Founded in 1987, by Martha Lee Blodgett, the ambassadors are appointed by UWF President Martha D. Saunders to serve as the official Hosts and Hostesses of the University of West Florida. Famous for their green jackets, the ambassadors are called upon to assist at important university events such as fall and spring commencement, donor dinners, alumni and VIP tours, presidential events, and award ceremonies.
