Biography
Graduated in 2019 from UWF with my bachelors in Exercise Science. Within 6 months of graduating, I completed my Clinical Medical Assistant certification
through UWF. While I’ve used that certification at a few different jobs, I found deep satisfaction working for Sacred Heart Oncology for three years. There I practiced phlebotomy, vitals, and patient care. In April 2024, I was hired to work for Baptist in their Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation department as an Exercise Physiologist. I completed my Clinical Exercise Physiologist certification in July 2025.
In Cardiac Rehab, I work with patients’ post-surgery or post-cardiac event to rehabilitate and strengthen their hearts. My duties include assessing, designing, and monitoring aerobic and resistance training regiments as well as monitoring patient with EKG while they exercise. We have recently teamed with a program called Pritikin to round out our rehab with heart-health education on nutrition, exercise, and healthy-mindsets.
