Lincheng Tony Lee, MD, FACC

Biography

Dr. Lee is a board certified cardiologist and clinical lipidologist at Baptist Heart & Vascular Institute in Pensacola, FL. He has an interest and expertise in sports cardiology and has been a member of the American College of Cardiology's Sports and Exercise Cardiology section for many years. He helped collaborate with Andrews Institute and the University of West Florida (UWF), among others, to help bring electrocardiogram (EKG) screening to high school athletes in the area as part of pre-participation physicals. Being interested in clinical research as well, he is a principal (PI) and sub-investigator (SI) in several clinical studies involving exercise physiology, clinical lipidology, sports cardiology, as well as being a site PI or SI in several multi-center clinical trials and studies. Dr. Lee also has an interest in advanced cardiac imaging, and he is board certified in echocardiography, cardiac CT, cardiovascular MRI, nuclear
cardiology, as well as cardiology and clinical lipidology. He has practiced in Pensacola since 2013 and completed his cardiology fellowship at the University of Florida/Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL. Prior to this, Dr. Lee graduated with a degree in marine biology from Duke University, completed medical school at the University of Texas-Southwestern Medical School
in Dallas, TX, and completed Internal Medicine residency at University of Hawaii in Honolulu, HI.
