Part of our role as academic advisors is to be familiar with a multitude of resources available to help you succeed. One expansive resource at our disposal is the university libraries. The libraries are a wealth of information for you in many different areas. In this post I want to highlight some of the key resources the library can offer you.

In-person

  • Testing carrels (everything you need for taking a test in one location)
  • Laptop checkouts (all library laptops have Respondus installed)
  • All undergraduate textbooks (2 hour checkout for use in the library)
  • Equipment checkouts (the library has a variety of technology available for students to checkout instead of having to purchase i.e. graphing calculators, digital cameras, iPads/laptops etc.)
  • Research assistance (students can get one-on-one assistance with finding sources for their research)
  • Tutoring (there is a tutoring location on the 2nd floor. schedule)
  • Education Research Library - ERL (bldg. 86, room 105)
  • Lactation Room (available in both main campus library locations, Pace Library & ERL)

Online

While there are some resources that can only be accessed on campus, the University Libraries are an essential resource for your academic advancement.
