The online Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A.) in Human Resource Management (HRM) from the UWF will teach you how to ethically recruit, hire, deploy and manage human capital strategically in an organization. You’ll study issues in workforce management and learn how effective people management is necessary to develop successful long-term competitive strategies.

Courses & Requirements

UWF’s online Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Human Resource Management program includes 120 credit hours. After completing 60 credit hours in general education, including recommended lower-division prerequisite courses, you will complete 60 credit hours for the HR major.

General Education (60 credit hours)

In addition to the General Education requirements listed in the catalog, students must satisfy all additional University requirements, including the Gordon Rule, multicultural, and foreign language requirements. With appropriate planning and coordination with an academic advisor, students may satisfy some of the general University requirements through the General Education curriculum.

Lower Division Electives (3-12 credit hours)

Students must complete sufficient 1000/2000 level electives to complete at least 60 semester hours in the lower division. Current UWF students may use elective courses at any level (1000-4000) to meet this elective requirement.

Common Prerequisites (21 credit hours)

To apply to the online B.S.B.A. in Human Resources at UWF, you’ll submit an application for undergraduate admission with its $30 application fee along with the following:

Submit official transcripts from all institutions previously attended whose accrediting agency is included on the list of UWF approved accrediting agencies

Completed residency application form for tuition purposes

Tuition waivers cover up to 75% of the non-resident portion of your tuition and are available to non-Florida residents (including international students) admitted to online campus programs and registered for online courses in active pursuit of that degree or certificate. You must pay all other assessed tuition and fees. The renewal of Online Campus Out-of-State Tuition Waivers is not automatic. Time to completion varies by student, depending on individual progress and credits transferred, if applicable. Fees are charged per semester unless otherwise noted.

Alabama Differential Out-of-State Tuition

Residents of Alabama are eligible for Alabama Differential Tuition, a reduced out-of-state tuition rate.
