Calendar Guidelines

Guidelines for the UWF Event Calendar.


Events submitted to the UWF Event Calendar must meet the following guidelines and follow the event submission instructions. Failure to do so will result in your event submission rejected and returned for correction.

  • Events must be associated with UWF or a Direct Support Organization of UWF. Please note the UWF Event Calendar is a public facing event calendar for the broader UWF community and viewable by the general public. The UWF Event Calendar does not accept event submissions promoting non-UWF events.
  • All events must meet the appropriate department and University event guidelines and have received appropriate approvals before they are submitted by a UWF faculty or staff member.
  • Students are welcome to submit student group events to the UWF Event Calendar. Please note the UWF Event Calendar is a public facing event calendar for the broader UWF community and viewable by the general public. Argo Pulse is recommended for more internal UWF student only events. The student submitter, student group as well as the department and advisor overseeing the student group are responsible for event accuracy on the UWF Event Calendar.
  • Event submissions must be event oriented. Campus news or announcements are not appropriate for the event calendar and should be instead submitted to the @UWF Faculty and Staff Newsletter. Event submissions such as recurring courses, staff meetings (unless a public meeting notice), and office hours will not be approved if submitted.
