Personnel Processing and Records

The information contained within the Personnel Processing and Records pages of the Human Resources website is intended to:

  • provide hiring departments the pertinent information related to the onboarding of new employees after the pre-employment/backgrounds processes have been completed,
  • present information on the proper hiring processes of international employees,
  • provide information for those employees who are leaving UWF employment,
  • instruct employees on how to update their personal information on record with HR, and
  • explain the verification of employment process at the university.

The information related to the hiring of employees is divided into two sections; Staff and Faculty Employment and Student Employment. The Staff and Faculty Employment section includes all Faculty, University Work Force staff, Adjuncts, and OPS Staff employees, while the section on Student employees relates to only those classified as student employees. Detailed information pertaining to the new hire essential documents, Personnel Action Forms, pay plans, and more are located within these pages.

We have also included additional information as it relates to the hiring of international students and foreign nationals. These particular populations of employees have additional requirements which must be met prior to them being permitted to work for the university. All inquiries regarding these processes should be directed to the Human Resources Foreign National Employee Liaison, Christine Niemann Dillard at 850.474.2508.
