Intelligent Systems and Robotics Laboratory

The Intelligent Systems and Robotics Laboratory for our PhD program is located at 100 S. Alcaniz Street, Pensacola, Florida (across IHMC). The space has approximately 2000 sq. ft. area (35’ x 56’), and it includes research space, one conference room and one student study room. The laboratory space dimensions are 35’ x 32’ (1120 sq. ft.), with basic laboratory furniture and equipment, and open research space for proposed research.

There are 5 basic workstations, and 3 custom workstations with powerful GPUs. ISR Lab also has Motion Capture (MoCap) system. The MoCap system covers approximately 500 square feet with 6 OptiTrack cameras that are on tripods. The covering space can be adjusted per the need of experiments.

ISR Lab Connection

The Intelligent Systems and Robotics Laboratory was created for Ph.D. students; however, those in the Engineering Master's program have the privilege of using the lab for their projects as well.
