The UWF Conservation Program has five main projects: Natural Resource Management, the UWF Living Lab, Argos Conservation Corps, the UWF Community Garden, and Argos' Edible Campus.

Natural Resources Management is administered in conjunction with Facilities Management to focus on land management and seeks partnership with entities such as the Florida Forest Service, the Water Management District, Escambia County, and other natural resources managers.

The UWF Living Lab is affiliated with Academic Affairs and focuses on academic and research engagement with UWF campus natural areas, facilitating outdoor class sessions and research in diverse disciplines.

The Argos Conservation Corps acts as a hub for conservation action at UWF, bringing together concerned parties among faculty, staff, students and community members to collaborate. This project is housed in the Student Government Association.

The UWF Community Garden is a project open to the public and Argos Edible Campus aims to address food insecurity among students by planting fruiting trees and bushes throughout the main University campus.
