Starting November 19, stop by Building 21, Room 120, for a Final Exam Survival Kit made up of drinks, snacks, and study supplies. The Center for Academic Success will be distributing these to all UWF students from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. during the week while supplies last.
Finals will be coming up soon, so if you’re feeling overwhelmed or stressed out, remember that help is always available via your peers, your professors, your support network, and the many other student support services you’ve seen featured on this website. You’ve got this, Argo!
The UWF Community Garden is one of UWF’s hidden gems, and a serene place to walk, sit and be outside. The UWF Community Garden is a student service project, so if you’re interested in gardening or just want to be active outdoors for a few hours, you can sign up to be part of the next garden workday. Everyone is welcome!
Have you been inside what many students call the “Rec” yet? The Health, Leisure and Sports Facility aka the Rec, has lots to offer. Have you tried out the climbing wall, worked with a personal trainer (students get their first session for free), attended a group fitness class, or inquired about getting an on-campus job there? Go check it out if you haven’t had the chance to yet.
Keep in mind that you are reserving your seat in the classes you register for now, and that tuition payments are not due until January.
Jason and the Argonauts earned fame and glory by capturing the golden fleece. On our campus, the golden fleece is a reminder of the glory that awaits you as an Argonaut and a symbol of good luck along your journey.
