Budget Forms
The Office of University Budgets has worked with campus and ITS staff to create forms needed for Budget Transfers, Financial Plans, and Fringe & Rate Estimates.
Budget Forms
Below is a list of some of the most used budget-related forms developed for campus users:
Estimated Benefit Calculations Rate & Fringe Templates - You can use this page to get an estimate of benefits for increases or conversions, as of the dates shown on the individual forms listed on the Rates & Fringe Templates page. These templates are updated as we are notified of changes.
Cross-Divisional Budget Transfer Form - At least one person in each division has authority to make a budget transfer between departments within the division; however, only the Office of University Budgets can make a transfer between divisions. By division, we mean the high level Academic Affairs, Finance & Administration, Advancement, President, Division of Academic Engagement, and Division of Enrollment and Student Affairs. In this case, a paper budget transfer (BT) is required. Use the to prepare a paper BT that does not involve Research Administration and Engagement (RAE) funds. The paper BT form also serves as the primary approval source document for a department's cross-divisional budget transfer entered into Banner.
Auxiliary Financial Plans - this form is in Information Navigator (BUDG000018-Online Auxiliary Financial Plan) and is used yearly to enter auxiliary budgets for the new fiscal year. They are completed by the individual departments and forwarded to us via JIRA. Complete the steps in the Auxiliary Financial Plan Instructions.
Contract & Grants Financial Plans - this form is in Information Navigator (BUDG000048-Online Contracts & Grants Financial Plan) and is used yearly to enter contract and grants budgets for the new fiscal year.
