The Department of Marketing, Supply Chain Logistics, and Economics prepares you for a successful career path, especially if your desired career has a global focus.

Dr. Scott Keller, Chair

The Department consists of 15 faculty members with a wide variety of teaching and research interests. You will find their publications covering supply chain relationships, commercial airport finance, the (trade show) exhibition industry, the artificial reef industry, health and economic shocks, school efficiency, hotel taxes and demand, brand image evaluations, logistics strategy and many other topics.

The undergraduate programs of the department include:

Students interested in an international experience can select either global marketing or global economics and spend a semester overseas at any of the institutions with whom we have exchange programs, including those in Europe, Asia, as well as in the Americas.

Students are strongly encouraged to practice their knowledge through internships. Recent intern employers have included idgroup branding, Gulf Winds Federal Credit Union, ACE Racket Sports and 3 Daughters Brewing.

Finally, the department offers minors in General Business, Business Economics, Economic Policy, Marketing, Marketing Applications and Quantitative Economics.
