Argo Band Camp Dates
Argo Band Camp is required for membership in the Argo Athletic Band. This rehearsal time is crucial for the success of the ensemble, so no exceptions will be made to this rule.
- Monday, August 7 - Drumline/Colorguard (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM)
- Tuesday, August 8 - Drumline/Colorguard (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM)
- Wednesday, August 9 - Drumline/Colorguard(8:00 AM - 8:00 PM)
- Thursday, August 10 - Drumline/Colorguard (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM)
- Friday, August 11 - Drumline/Colorguard(8:00 AM - 8:00 PM)
- Saturday, August 12 - Drumline/Colorguard (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM)
- Sunday, August 13 - OFF
- Monday, August 14 - Full Band (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM)
- Tuesday, August 15 - Full Band (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM)
- Wednesday, August 16 - Full Band (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM)
- Thursday, August 17 - Full Band (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM)

Audition Requirements
General Audition Information
1. Email us at athleticband@uwf.edu to schedule your audition.
2. Complete the Interest Form below.
You will need to be prepared to demonstrate the following techniques on flag:
Flag requirements:
- 50 drop spins on both hands
- Horizontal toss single
- J toss single
- 45 toss single
Rifle and Sabre requirements:
- 50 drop spins both hands
- Toss a triple, and a quad
- Also prepare and demonstrate a 45 second - 1 minute routine
- Lyrical Selection (30 seconds - 1 minute in length)
- Technical Selection (30 seconds - 1 minute in length)
- Two Major Scales of your choosing (demonstrate as many octaves as possible)
- Sight Reading
- Marching Demonstration
