Dr. Ramie Gougeon, professor, teaches courses in archaeological and anthropological theory; historic preservation, policies and practice in archaeology; and area courses in North American prehistory.

Christina L. Bolte is the Collections Manager and Faculty Research Associate at UWF Archaeology Institute. She manages archaeological material holdings and conducts collections-based research, exhibition, and education.

Jennifer Melcher is a faculty research associate with the UWF Archaeology Institute. Her research covers contact period indigenous populations of the northern Gulf coast through historic cemeteries.
William Wilson, maritime archaeologist, assists with UWF underwater investigations. Specializing in geophysical survey methods, he uses new technology to locate shipwrecks and inundated archaeological sites. He is currently helping to characterize the magnetic signatures of the Emanuel Point Shipwrecks, with the hopes of aiding in the discovery of similar vessels.
