UWF Editorial Style Guide

The UWF Editorial Style Guide is designed to be a helpful resource to assist campus communicators in writing marketing, communications and web materials that present an accurate, consistent message about the University. This guide is a supplement to the Associated Press Stylebook to address many of the frequently asked style-related questions that pertain specifically to UWF.

For editorial style questions not included within these guidelines, refer to the AP Stylebook. In instances where the UWF Editorial Style Guide differs from AP Style, the UWF guide takes precedence.
