The “No Limits” Campaign:
The “No Limits” institutional campaign was born from the re-emergence of the new Nautilus Shell logo unveiled by the University in 2018. Much like the nautilus shell, the “No Limits” campaign builds off the momentum generated through the messaging of evolution and growth, combined with the adventurous spirit and story of the historical epic Jason and the Argonauts. “No Limits” is a call to action and a rallying call for a movement. It speaks to the ideals of “going for broke,” “achieving the seemingly impossible” and “defying the odds.” It’s important to remember that “No Limits” pulls inspiration from both the nautilus shell’s meaning and symbolism, as well as the allegorical storytelling from Jason and the Argonauts.
“No Limits” messaging should not replace a tagline, slogan or motto. It should be inspirational and organic. Translations of “No Limits” that convey its general meaning, such as “Life without limits, limitless, Voyage on, etc.” are welcome and encouraged. These variations open up more opportunity for creative freedom in headlines, subheads and body copy, while removing strict reliance on a single tagline or message.
