Student Leadership Awards
The University of West Florida Student Leadership Awards are meant to recognize a collegiate record of leadership and service to UWF and the Pensacola community.

Description of Awards
The up to $1,000 award, established in 1997 in memory of UWF's founding President, is given annually to a graduating senior in recognition of sustained leadership and service to the University. To be eligible, the applicant must have completed at least the junior and senior years at UWF and must have graduated either Fall 2023 or will graduate Spring or Summer 2024.

Given to one female student (Linda O. Dye Award) and one male student (Kenneth L. Curtis Award) for significant contributions, sustained leadership, and service to campus life at UWF. Must be a currently enrolled senior at UWF with a 2.50 or higher cumulative UWF GPA. Students considered for these awards are those who have, through their time, energy and creativity, worked to enhance activities, intercollegiate athletics, or the development of traditions. Each award comes with a $500 scholarship.

Must be a currently enrolled freshman or sophomore at UWF (less than 60 credit hours) with a 2.50 or higher cumulative UWF GPA.
Must be a currently enrolled junior or senior at UWF (60 or more credit hours) with a 2.50 or higher cumulative UWF GPA.
Must be a currently enrolled graduate student at UWF with a 3.00 or higher cumulative UWF GPA.
