Team Member Recruitment

This page provides information for currently enrolled UWF students on how to apply to become a student member of the SAR team.

Volunteer or Work as a Notetaker

Notetakers provide invaluable services to students with disabilities. The service that notetakers provide is in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act of 2008 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.  The purpose of the note-taking service is to provide copies of lecture notes to students who are eligible for this accommodation. Providing this accommodation helps students whose disabilities interfere with their ability to take notes in class. Students who have a documented disability must be approved for notetaking services prior to receiving the service.

Currently enrolled UWF students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher who are interested in serving as a notetaker for SAR may apply. Applicants must submit the SAR Student Notetaker Application Form, a current resume, and a sample copy of notes.

To become a notetaker complete the Student Notetaker Application Form.
