How to Apply
Admission Requirements
The following materials are required for the 2018 Emerald Coast Writing Project Summer Institute at the University of West Florida:
- UWF Emerald Coast Writing Project Application Form/Coversheet
- Letter of recommendation from a district or school administrator who can speak to your abilities in the area of literacy
- Brief resume of the applicant
- Response to the following: What experiences have you had as a writer? Why is writing important to 21st century literacy/education? How do you teach writing and why? Why are you interested in the summer institute?
Send all materials to Kelly Aeppli-Campbell, Co-Director of the UWF Emerald Coast Writing Project (kaepplicampbell@uwf.edu).
Selection of applicants will be a joint decision by UWF and ECSD. Applicants will be notified if selected for an interview. Interviews of applicants will occur in April.
