The Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology (CTLT) works to develop and sustain transformative teaching and learning environments at UWF with a commitment to quality support, collaborative partnerships, and innovative use of technology.
The syllabus is essential for sharing your teaching philosophy and course design. For Fall 2024, we have created several resources to help you easily update an existing syllabus or write a new one centered around helpful and up-to-date information for your students. Visit our Syllabus toolkit for syllabus templates and evidence-based recommendations for effective student-centered syllabi.
We are committed to providing quality support and collaborative partnerships with anyone who teaches at UWF.
Use this Qualtrics form to connect with the support you need.
Are you looking to create high-quality multimedia resources that captivate your audience? Look no further than the Pickens Multimedia Studio! Our studio is available for appointments to record multimedia content, including videos, audio recordings, and animations. Our team of instructional designers will work alongside you to ensure that your multimedia is of the highest instructional quality, giving you the confidence that your students are receiving the best educational experience possible.
The CTLT is a centralized physical and virtual space that supports a culture of teaching, helps faculty identify and address problems, provides workshops and training, and collaborates with other campus units to help faculty meet their professional development goals and needs.
Our Instructional Designers support innovative teaching strategies and transformative learning environments that can benefit all UWF students in all learning modalities.
We support the continued success of distance learning at UWF through online tuition waivers, distance learning state authorization, and technology adoption.
We provide support and resources designed to help the campus community quickly and efficiently adopt and adapt the learning technologies that UWF provides.
To help advance UWF’s mission, the CTLT informs and advocates for the use of evidence-based teaching practices that can be used in various teaching modalities. The CTLT is a catalyst for change, implementing strategies to improve its effectiveness and efficiencies, encouraging pilot projects to address issues that may scale to a larger divisional context, and anticipating and actively participating when there is a need for the institution to pivot to ensure continued student and faculty success.
