Richard Carr

B.A., University of West Florida

I am a graduate student in the general psychology track. I have research interests in the areas of health psychology and the psychology of religion and spirituality. I am working with Dr. Susan Walch on my thesis, tentatively titled " The Relationships Among Religiosity, Social Support, and Sexual Attitudes and Risk Taking Among Late Adolescents and Young Adults." I am also very active in the Health Psychology Laboratory, which is also run by Dr. Susan Walch. I am involved in projects which the lab is doing in the areas of transgender living, college student political involvement, and the writing of surveys for the Florida Health Department. Finally, I have been involved in some very part-time off campus work with Dr. James Larson, a forensic psychologist who conducts psychological evaluations of jail inmates the Escambia and Santa Rosa County areas.
