B.A., University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee

I currently work as the Graduate Assistant for department chair Dr. Laura Koppes and the Center for Applied Psychology. I have had the opportunity to get involved in stimulating faculty research projects and educational events. I have also been fortunate enough to be offered the opportunity to attend interesting workshops and conferences in exchange for my help, such as the UWF Naval Symposium on the Psychological Effects of War. Being a part of the team that hosts special interest workshops or symposiums has provided me with the skills needed for the groundwork and planning that makes this type of event a success. The department faculty keep a mental note of your research interests and try to keep you informed about any possible projects you may want to take partake in or people you may wish to work with collaboratively. I have really enjoyed the many opportunities for learning and growth that has been presented to me through my position, and would highly recommend applying for a position as a Graduate Assistant!
