The Student Health Clinic is a primary health facility that serves actively enrolled UWF Students. Our caring team of professionals are available to serve students when they need medical care or advice.

We are a primary care clinic. Care includes women’s health, STI testing/treatment, diagnosis and treatment of minor illnesses and injuries, health education and prevention. To make an appointment call our office at 850.474.2172, option 1.

Immunization Requirements

In compliance with Florida Statute (1006.69) and Florida Board of Governors Regulations (6.001 & 6.007), requires the completed UWF Mandatory Immunization Health History Form to be completed as a prerequisite to matriculation or registration.

Stay Well Practices

We have multiple resources and healthy practices to educate students on keeping themselves healthy on campus, including online screenings that determine if you or someone you love might need to be connected with a doctor or mental health professional.

Emergencies

Call 911 off campus for an ambulance for assistance during a life-threatening emergency. For an ambulance while on campus, call UWF Police at 850.474.2415. The police can stay with you and direct the ambulance to your location.

We are open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (closed on Saturday, Sunday and all recognized University holidays).

Associated Costs to Students

For students, there is no charge to be seen by one of our providers. However, there are fees associated with lab work or testing services. Visit our Costs and Billings page to review estimated costs.

Over the Counter Medications

SHS now carries many common over-the-counter (OTC) medications and first aid supplies. See our complete list of items and pricing on our website. Purchases can be made with credit or debit cards.

Immunizations Offered Through Clinic

The Student Health Clinic offers the following immunizations at a reduced cost for students: MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella), Hepatitis B (3shot series), Tap (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) and Flu vaccine.
