Our Clinic Offers the Following Services

Diagnosis and treatment of minor illness and injury

Minor injuries, including muscle strain or sprain. Our providers can evaluate a laceration to determine whether sutures are needed. Depending on the size/severity, we may be able to provide sutures. We also remove sutures and staples.

Minor illnesses involving UTI, URI, pharyngitis, skin rashes or sores, headache, mild asthma, conjunctivitis, otitis media/externa (ear pain), cellulitis, mono, flu, covid, mild gastroenteritis (n/v/d) and GERD can be cared for through our office.

Immunizations

Immunizations at a reduced cost for all UWF students: MMR (measles, mumps, rubella), Hepatitis B (3 shot series), Tdap (tetanus/diphtheria, pertussis), and Flu vaccine.

Laboratory Testing and Procedures

Laboratory Testing is available to help determine if additional care is needed. Labs will be drawn from 9 a.m.–2 p.m. Monday–Friday. Please allow two to five business days for your results. When you call for results, please be advised that we will require you to provide your Student ID number in order to verify your identity and protect your privacy.

Physicals

Annual physicals, nursing school, athletics programs, training, CLS or ROTC.

Over the Counter Medications

SHS carries many common over-the-counter (OTC) medications and first-aid supplies. See our complete list of items and pricing below. Purchases can be made with credit or debit cards.

STD Testing

Testing and treatment for most STDs. However, cases involving treatment for HIV and syphilis are referred to the Escambia County Health Department.

Women's Health

Women's health services, including well-woman exam visits, contraception, pap smears testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections.
