The Department of Government offers the Master of Arts in Political Science.  Students are also given the option to obtain a Public Administration Specialization.  As well as completing the 21-semester hour Political Science core, students who choose this option must successfully complete the courses shown below and pass a comprehensive oral and written examination.

PAD course requirements:

PAD 6053         The Public Administration Professional

PAD 6227         Public Budgeting

________          PAD elective approved by the Department of Government Chair or Graduate Student Advisor

________          PAD or other elective approved by the Department of Government Chair or Graduate Student Advisor
